Just a quick note today. Some of you know that in addition to being an artist, I’ve been a reporter, and I write picture books and novels in my spare time. I’m fairly serious about my writing hobby. I belong to the SCBWI, meet monthly with a like-minded writing group, and have been shopping my Picture Book out to agents.

In order to better interact with my fellow aspiring authors (as well as to keep a log for myself about my own writer’s journey), I’ve set up a bare bones blog on blogger about my current writing projects. This isn’t supposed to be a fancy blog, or an authority site. It’s just for me and other writers or people who are interested in either my work, or the writer’s journey in general. It will be full of my own self-pitying writerly angst, as well as probably focus on craft, posts I find interesting and be a sounding board where I figure out what I’m doing wrong.
