Born in 1971, Karyn Lewis studied drawing, painting & graphic design at Colorado State University for 6 years. After working as an Arts & Entertainment reporter for a metro paper, Karyn quit her “day job” to become a full time freelance illustrator. Karyn lives in the Midwest with her journalist husband and son. Karyn is a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writer’s and Illustrators.
